Are you still having hope ?!

once upon a time ...

There was a war in my city - as is the case of others-; which took place for few months. all the citizens felt afraid, and unfortunately most of them lost one or two of their beloved, so did I.
I've still remembered  all the details of that day, but I usually faced a difficulty to talk about. finally, I broke the ice when one of my teachers at collage ordered me to speak it up.
Two years ago, the story begun when we arranged to leave home escaping from death. We didn't know that it was waiting for us!.
The 18th of Ramadan, a very hot day and fasting exhausted our energy, when we stuck at the middle of the battle filed. we were four families divided ourselves into three cars with all stuff that anybody needs for disreplacements. The scared journey started with passing among the sub-streets while the shooting, There was a dead body threw out in middle of the road, unfortunately, my younger brother saw it and he dreamed a nightmare for the rest of the next night.
After we align arrived to the port, a bomb went off in front of us but we could survive.
We continued this weird journey until we arrived to the " Mountain buildings", the surprise was there!. There was another battle and we got separated, some could pass but others couldn't; and I was one of those who stuck in the city. Actually, I wasn't scared on myself but on my father, because he was driving a truck and it was so difficult to move quickly.
At that I felt like THIS IS THE END, because I couldn't see my father.
Few minuets later, he appeared and I hugged him. We spent a day at someone's apartment without knowing anything about the rest of my family. By the early morning next day we tried to catch up with them, and after nearly 6 hours we met each other.
We seemed a lucky family, because we literally faced death but none of us got injured.
From this unforgettable experience I could say that everyday has a new journey deserves to be told  as long as we still alive, and bad moments will be gone like a blink of an eye. What about you! Are you still having hope?.
