The Fear of Judgement
Pretending to be well is more difficult than being not well. So why we pretend?, why we do such a harm to our souls just for satisfying people, why we care so much about their opinions and what they think?.
We're living in a judgmental society, which surrounds us with others' sayings.
For example, a man can't dance in the street with no reason when he feels happiness, because people will start gossiping and think that he lost his mind. Two engaged people can't walk in public holding hands because they fear of judgment. Besides, I can't complain about something bothers me and have to smile for people even if I am not in a good mood. There are plenty of similar stories that we live everyday.
However, we know that doesn't matter what others think about us, yet we still pay attention because we used to. Somehow we're adapted, customs and traditions forced us, but till when?.There must be a radical solution.
Often, a burden has put on the community while we're part of it. We believe that people's lives neither a material to talk about, nor of our business, but some of us still talk. There is a class of curious people who like to know everything, which makes others pretend or hide things or maybe emotions to avoid questioning or judgment. This causes a pain and confusion due to pretend not the truth to make people satisfy. Although, people believe that what they used to do is real, and when others do a strange thing will be a mistake; who has given this authority!. We shouldn't be afraid of judgement for doing what unfamiliar, because it's a life lived once.
