2020
2020 was a tough year, which made the whole world got troubled. Who could imagine a virus would stop our lives? From quarantine to horrible news about the increasing cases. People were in a panic about what would be happened later to them, their families, and jobs if the lockdown would take so long to end.
However, COVID19 was not a matter for people, at least after the middle of the year, because they got used to and learnt how to deal with it, stay safe at home, and accomplished everything online.
Except that online connecting wasn't enough, we have suffered from missing to touch and hug our friends and beloved ones. We have missed our normal life and how we were before. On the other hand, new vibes started to appear, for example, spending time to develop skills, having deep conversations with family or children.
From a personal perspective, I was distracted because a lot of things were needed to be done, and my family was taking a huge part of my mind. I felt like I'm responsible for their safety during the quarantine. Besides, I was almost to graduate and had to prepare my research paper, yet I decided to stop everything and have a good time with movies and books until I could resume them later. At that time, I was anxious a little bit, so I tried to avoid social media to don't watch or read bad news. Like any human being, I was thinking about the future and the uncompleted things, which stayed from last year, and how would I do to keep everything moving forward.
Back to the end of 2019, I planned a list that has goals I wished to achieve in 2020. Even though things go the other way of our will, I tried to do my best to make the goals true. Yet, one of them has still not been achieved.
This year has taught me a lot. I have been through difficult times of pain and suffer. However, I cannot deny that there were other stages of success. I have mentally grown up and realised that things are gone to give a path to others to shine.
Definitely, everybody has a story full of bad and good lessons during this year, which make us ready to face the upcoming years as strong as possible.
